Hello.
Hi, I’m Nutishia “Tish” Lee.
I’m a marketing and communications professional with a background in digital strategy, storytelling, and design. I like figuring out complicated things, finding the thread that makes them make sense, and turning that into something people can actually understand and connect with.
I started out in design, which taught me to pay attention to how people see and experience information. Over time, my work grew beyond the visual side. I found myself asking bigger questions: Who are we trying to reach? What do they actually need to know? What are we asking them to do? And why should they care?
That’s what pulled me deeper into marketing and communications.
How I Work
A lot of my work has been with organizations doing complicated, meaningful things—often in environments where there are a lot of people, priorities, and moving pieces to bring together.
Whether I’m building a content strategy, shaping a campaign, developing a digital platform, or figuring out how to explain a new idea, I’m usually looking for the same thing: the clearest way to get from what an organization wants to say to what people actually need to hear.
I’m also a big believer in making things useful, not just polished. Good communication should help someone understand something, find their way in, make a decision, or feel like they belong there.
I believe communications and design can be more.
Design is still a big part of how I think.
I believe a good idea can get lost if it's difficult to understand or experience. The words matter. The visuals matter. The way everything fits together matters. That’s why I like working somewhere between strategy and making. I can think through the big picture, but I also like getting into the details and making the thing.
For me, communications and design aren't separate disciplines. They’re two ways of solving the same problem: helping people understand and connect.
I’m looking for opportunities to lead marketing and communications work where strategy, storytelling, creativity, and purpose have a reason to be in the same room.
If you’re curious about my work, have a question, or think there might be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.
